My name is Alex Owings, a student attorney with the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic. This message concerns the draft permit for Georgia-Pacific's Crossett Paper Operations (Permit No. AR0001210). The draft permit is set for a public hearing on May 10, 2010, and the written comment period is also set to close on that date. We request that ADEQ extend the deadline for submitting written comments until two weeks after the public hearing (until May 24, 2010) in order to allow comments on information that comes to light at the public hearing.
